Port logistics services, as one of the main pillars of economic development and international trade, play a pivotal role in facilitating the flow of goods, reducing transportation costs, and increasing supply chain efficiency. This study aims to examine the future of port logistics services in the Ports and Maritime Administration of Bandar Lengeh and West Hormozgan Province and compare it with other major ports in the country. Research data has been collected from statistical sources of the Ports and Maritime Organization, media reports, and reputable scientific articles, including a case study of the "Cat Lai" port in Vietnam and a review of global experiences in the field of port logistics. The findings show that operational capacities, logistics infrastructure, advanced technologies, and free zone policies, especially in the ports of West Hormozgan, have been able to enhance the role of these ports in domestic and international transit networks. Compared to the country's major ports such as Shahid Rajaee and Chabahar, the ports of Western Hormozgan are rapidly establishing their position in the national and regional markets by focusing on the transit of vehicles and oil goods, establishing back-shore logistics infrastructure, and developing multimodal transportation. The research results emphasize that investing in the development of modern infrastructure, locating logistics hubs, facilitating the activities of domestic and international logistics companies, and utilizing emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence and blockchain can strengthen the future of port logistics services in the western ports, especially the port under construction in Bandar Lengeh, and increase its competitiveness at the national and international levels. This research also suggests that developing a logistics strategic document for these ports, with an approach to sustainable development and operational efficiency, can play a significant role in improving logistics indicators and facilitating regional trade flows.
