Assessment of the Relationship Between Human Resource Management and Employees’ Adaptive Performance with the Moderating Role of Transformational Leadership in the Municipality

Abstract
This research aims to investigate the impact of human resource management on employees' adaptive performance, with a focus on the moderating role of transformational leadership. The current study is descriptive-analytical, applied in terms of objective, and falls under survey research methodology. The statistical population comprises all employees of the Tabriz Municipality, selected through a non-probability convenience sampling method. To conduct the research, a 22-item closed-ended questionnaire using a five-point Likert scale was distributed among the employees. These questionnaire items measure the research variables. After data collection and classification, analyses were performed using SPSS version 20 and SmartPLS version 4. The research findings indicate that human resource management has a significant positive effect on employees' adaptive performance, moderated by transformational leadership.
