Investigating the Relationship Between Managers' Short-sightedness and Mutual Investment in Innovation with the Moderating Role of Economic Policy Uncertainty in Companies Listed on the Tehran Stock Exchange

Abstract
The present study examines the relationship between managers' myopia and mutual investment in innovation with the moderating role of economic policy uncertainty in companies listed on the Tehran Stock Exchange. This study is an applied study in terms of its nature and descriptive method and in terms of its purpose, and since in the present study the current state of the variables has been analyzed using information collection through past information, it is included in the category of descriptive and post-event studies. In the course of conducting this study, two main hypotheses were formulated and 167 companies were selected through systematic elimination sampling for a 7-year period between 2017 and 2024. After collecting the data on the research variables, they were analyzed in Excel software using the statistical software IViews version 10 with a multivariate regression model. The results of the hypothesis test showed that there is a significant direct relationship between managers' myopia and mutual investment in innovation. Also, economic policy uncertainty has a significant direct effect on the relationship between managers' myopia and mutual investment in innovation.
