Abstract
Dividend policy is a guideline that companies have regarding dividend payment. This includes payment or non-payment, payment amount, payment time, and payment frequency. Dividend policy is an important commitment that shows the past performance and future prospects of companies. Accordingly, dividend policy has been studied by researchers with the aim of further understanding the factors determining the payout policy of companies. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of CEO turnover on the dividend policy of companies listed on the Tehran Stock Exchange. In line with the research objective, a hypothesis was formulated. To test this hypothesis, a sample of 104 companies was selected from among the companies listed on the Tehran Stock Exchange during the years 1394 to 1401 using the systematic elimination method. The logistic regression model was used to analyze the data and test the hypothesis. As a result, CEO turnover affects the dividend policy of companies listed on the Tehran Stock Exchange.
