Abstract
The issue of poverty has always been studied in the world, if we can analyze the size of poverty, we will have a better understanding of the changes in poverty. Poverty and inequality are words that have distinct concepts, and the policies leading to poverty reduction do not necessarily lead to the reduction of inequality. This article on poverty and inequality provides tools for measuring, describing, monitoring, evaluating and analyzing poverty. which creates a context for designing poverty reduction strategies. This article is intended for researchers and policy analysts involved in poverty research and policy making. from the information of the World Bank Institute in educational workshops in countries around the world including: Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Botswana, Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Lao People's Democratic Republic, Malawi, Pakistan, Philippines, Tanzania and Thailand, as well as in courses Distance courses have been used with a significant number of participants from several countries in Asia and Africa, and online courses with more than 200 participants worldwide. Feedback from these courses has been very helpful in helping us develop a review in this area. It also provides the skills needed to analyze poverty, providing a solid foundation for those who wish to conduct research in this area.
