Investigating the Relationship between Financing Policies and Financial Leverage with Companies' Stock Returns (Case of Study: Companies in the Automotive Industry)

Abstract
The present study evaluated the relationship between financing policies and financial leverage with stock returns of companies (case of study: companies in the automotive industry. For this purpose, the information of 44 companies admitted to the Tehran Stock Exchange for a ten-year period (from the beginning of 2013 until the end of 2022), the research variables were extracted and the necessary statistical tests were carried out. Multivariate linear regression was used to examine and test the hypotheses using statistical and econometric methods. The research findings indicated that there was a significant negative relationship between financing policies and stock returns there is a negative and significant relationship with stock returns.
