Investigating the effect of CEO narcissism and optimism on the capital structure of companies listed on the Tehran Stock Exchange

Abstract
This research was conducted with the aim of investigating the effect of narcissism and optimism of the CEO on the capital structure of companies listed on the Tehran Stock Exchange. In order to carry out this research, 143 companies were investigated between 2015 and 2016 in the Tehran Stock Exchange as a statistical sample. Research hypotheses were analyzed using panel data regression and combined regression in EViews10 software. The results of the hypothesis analysis using the EGLS estimation method at the 95% confidence level showed that the CEO's narcissism has a positive and significant effect on the company's capital structure. The CEO's optimism has a positive and significant effect on the company's capital structure.
