Abstract
The present study was conducted with the aim of "investigating the effect of motivation on the use of information technology among the customers of the social security organization of Shazand". This research is practical in terms of purpose and causal-survey in terms of method. The data required for this research was collected by standard questionnaires. The statistical population of this research included all the clients of the social security organization of Shazand city, and due to their unlimited number, 384 of them were selected to answer the questions based on Morgan's table. The Kolmogorov-Smirnov test was used to check the normality of the data and the regression test was used to check the hypotheses. Cronbach's alpha coefficient was used to evaluate reliability and SPSS22 software was used to calculate it. Cronbach's alpha coefficient was found to be greater than 0.7 in all the variables of this research, which indicates the high validity of the questionnaire, and the results showed that utilitarian motives, social motives, and hedonistic motives have an effect on the use of information technology.
