Abstract
This article comprehensively examines the transformation of urban surveillance and inspection through the integration of new technologies. Focusing on the use of tools such as ground-penetrating radar (GPR), drones, the Internet of Things (IoT), artificial intelligence (AI), and geographic information systems (GIS), it is shown how these technologies have significantly improved the efficiency, accuracy, and speed of surveillance processes. This transformation not only helps to strengthen urban resilience and crisis management, but also has practical applications and significant benefits in areas such as infrastructure monitoring, illegal construction control, waste management, and traffic. In addition, these technologies lead to reduced costs and manpower, increased transparency, and improved data-driven decision-making in urban management. Finally, the article emphasizes that the use of these advanced tools is crucial for the sustainable development and efficient management of future cities.
