Information technology, as one of the key factors in the transformation of organizational structures, plays an important role in empowering public relations and improving the financial system of municipalities. This review study examines the effects of the use of information technology in increasing the efficiency of communication between the municipality and citizens, improving transparency, and facilitating financial processes. The use of modern information technologies such as customer relationship management (CRM) systems, electronic portals, and intelligent financial management systems allows for better response to citizens' needs and cost optimization. Information technology also increases the accuracy of financial recording and reporting, reduces corruption, and increases public trust. A review of the literature shows that the use of information technology in public relations and the financial system of municipalities provides the basis for improving efficiency, transparency, and citizen satisfaction. This study emphasizes the importance of developing information technology infrastructure and training municipal human resources and paves the way for future research in this area.
