Abstract
Positive psychology in the workplace is a new approach that focuses on improving organizational performance and employee satisfaction by emphasizing positive values, meaning in work life, and constructive interactions. This approach, using a combination of management and psychology principles, helps create a dynamic, harmonious, and supportive work environment. Focusing on individual strengths, creating a work-life balance, managing stress, and encouraging creativity and innovation are among the main elements of this approach. The goal of positive psychology is to achieve a work environment in which employees contribute more effectively, are more motivated, and seek shared success for the organization and themselves. This approach not only helps improve organizational performance, but also creates an organizational culture based on happiness, satisfaction, and sustainable progress. This article emphasizes the potential of positive psychology to transform organizational environments by enhancing employee well-being and improving overall performance. However, this review also emphasizes the need for more research to address the challenges identified. The author calls for interdisciplinary approaches, more longitudinal studies, and the development of stronger theoretical frameworks to better understand and implement positive psychology in the workplace. By addressing these gaps, future research can use positive psychology to create healthier and more productive organizational environments.
