Abstract
Traditional financial theories argue that stock prices are determined solely by investors' unbiased cognitive evaluation and expected utility maximization, and no role is assumed for the behavioral dimension of the investor. The main objective of the study is to examine the role of investors' behavioral tendencies (emotions and feelings) in company valuation. The statistical population of the study is all active companies listed on the stock exchange between 2017 and 2023, of which 140 companies were selected as a sample by systematic exclusion. We used regression to test the hypotheses. The results showed that investor sentiment has a positive and direct effect on company valuation with a coefficient of (0.166) and significance (0.002) at a confidence level of 95 percent.
