This research was conducted with the aim of studying the relationship between body composition and socio-economic status of adolescent male students in Deir city. The current research method is of correlational type. The statistical population in this research was all male and female students of Deir city, which included the central part, Abadan city, Bardestan city and Bardkhon part. After checking and obtaining the necessary permission from the security and directorate of education department of Deir city, 200 male students were randomly selected in a cluster to fill out the questionnaire and the relevant tests. spss22 software was used to analyze the findings. The results indicated that according to the results of the present study, according to the WHR index, 97.3% of the students have abdominal obesity, and according to the body mass index, 1.98% of the students are obese, and 11.92% of the students are obese. The male students of Deir city are overweight. In general and taking into account the findings of the present research, it is concluded that probably in families with high level of economic capital, due to the better economic conditions of the families, the students of these families have a desire to gain weight and obesity and muscle mass index. and have a higher WHR index. Also, in families with a high level of cultural capital, due to the possibility of more parents' teachings and awareness, the students of these families have a desire to lose weight and obesity, and have a lower muscle mass index and WHR index.
