Abstract
This research was conducted with the aim of examining the impact of project management on employee burnout and testing the mediating role of employee empowerment in this relationship within the urban civil projects of the Tabriz Municipality. The research is applied in its objective and survey-based in terms of data collection methodology. The statistical population includes all employees of the urban civil projects of the Tabriz Municipality, and the statistical sample will be determined using appropriate sampling methods. The primary data collection tool will be standardized questionnaires measuring the research variables (project management, employee empowerment, and job burnout). The collected data will be analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to test the conceptual model and hypotheses. It is expected that the results will indicate that project management has a significant impact on reducing employee burnout, and this relationship is partially or fully mediated through increased levels of employee empowerment. These findings will provide practical guidance for the managers of the Tabriz Municipality to improve the work environment and reduce job burnout in urban civil projects.
