Abstract
The aim of this research is to assess the impact of information technology (IT) application in the urban management system on the level of citizen satisfaction with the services of Tabriz Municipality. With the expansion of information technologies and their increasing role in improving the quality of public service delivery, municipalities, as the main urban management institutions, are compelled to effectively utilize IT to enhance citizen satisfaction. This research is applied in its objective and descriptive-survey in its methodology. The statistical population of the research includes employees and managers related to IT and urban services in the Tabriz Municipality, from which the statistical sample was selected using an appropriate sampling method. The data collection tool was a standard questionnaire, the validity of which was confirmed using content and construct validity, and its reliability was confirmed through Cronbach's alpha coefficient. Structural equation modeling using LISREL software was used for data analysis and hypothesis testing. The research results indicated that the application of IT in the urban management system has a positive and significant impact on citizen satisfaction with the services of Tabriz Municipality. Furthermore, improving IT infrastructure, the quality of information systems, and the development of electronic urban services play a significant role in increasing citizen satisfaction. Finally, based on the research findings, practical suggestions are provided to improve the utilization of IT in urban management and enhance the level of citizen satisfaction.
