Abstract
Liquidity and the risk of stock price collapse in the stock market play a very important role in market stability, investor attraction and trading efficiency, this is one of the issues that market analysts pay special attention to. On the other hand, the first factor that all investors should consider is the uncertain conditions. Investors buy assets with the hope that they expect to earn returns over the next few periods. With the increase in economic policy uncertainty, many economic enterprises and financial institutions make major changes in the procedures of the salient features of their stock market. Therefore, this study has examined the effect of economic uncertainty on the risk of liquidity and stock price collapse. In this study, 14 banks listed on the Tehran Stock Exchange have been studied in the period 1392-1402. To test the hypotheses, the panel and logistic regression models were used. The research findings show that economic uncertainty has a positive and significant effect on the risk of liquidity and stock price collapse.
